Pinkytoast Holiday Ornaments:) I just finished my first set and couldn't be happier with how my new pinking shears worked!  I just updated my etsy shop with sets of 6.

My first pose doll! She's about 14inches tall & made from felt and wool houndstooth. She took hours, and without a pattern I'm hoping I'll be to make another one like her.

Little Red Ridding Hood and the Wolf Dressed in Caution Orange. She is my newest doll,  a story book hybrid of the girl herself, the wolf, forest, and the color of danger. She measures 9.5 inches tall and is made from custom pinkytoast fabric and then hand colored. I'm really excited about the way she turned out! I listed her tonight in my etsy shop.

Little Buffoon! I love this little red nosed girl:) she's 12 inches tall with front and back littered with chocolate diamonds, my sketchbook drawings, and some my favorite hand drawn fonts. This is another custom fabric I had made by spoonflower:)  I just added her to my etsy shop :)

frida doll and custom spoonflower fabric

 

Just finished!! I spent the last part of October designing my first custom spoonflower fabric. It arrived in my mailbox today and I spent all afternoon sewing up my first Frida Doll with my fabric. She measures 9.5 inches tall is made from 100% cotton fabric and once sewn and stuffed was customized with highlights and shadowing. Can't wait to design the next one! She was added to my etsy shop today.

doll making or a making a mess:)

   

I started a doll making project and thought I'd take pics as a went. Pulled out boxes of vintage notions and paper bits I've been collecting from the thrift store. Didn't have much of a plan but really wanted to use a piece of vintage net trim that my sister had given me. I used a cardboard cone for her body, a wooden ball for her head, and the vintage net trim at the neck and hem. Her body is covered with a vintage green linen fabric napkin and her arms and hat were make from vintage paper coasters. The Finished doll is about 8.5 inches tall and I think she'd be cute as a Christmas tree topper but not sure if her wooden head makes her a bit top heavy? Fun to make but made a mess of my house:) I'm adding her to my etsy shop tonight.
